At Pruitt & Earp Dentistry we offer full mouth comprehensive treatment to our Greenville, NC and Plymouth, NC dental patients. One treatment option that we use to get our patient’s a desired outcome is Invisalign.
Invisalign is a form of clear braces that allows gentle and precise tooth movements. Moving teeth is a very delicate process and only needs to be performed by a licensed dental professional. Most Invisalign treatments take between 6 months and one year. Some more advanced cases can take between 1 to 2 years. Speed is not the name of the game for Invisalign or any type of braces. Moving teeth too fast can cause tooth roots can become shortened or blunted. So, taking your time to move teeth slowly results in the best desired outcomes.
At Pruitt & Earp Dentistry we use the modern equipment to diagnose and treatment plan your Invisalign case.
Initial Exam
- Asking questions and inquiring about pricing.
- Finding out what you want to change about your teeth.
- Determining if you are a good candidate to do Invisalign at our office.
- Intra oral scan
- Submission to Invisalign for processing and plan development.
Second Appointment
- You will be presented with a digital model of where your teeth are now and where they will move too by the end of the treatment. You will also see the treatment timeline and how long your Invisalign braces should take.
- At this point, you will decide if you want to move forward or not with Invisalign treatment.
- Our comprehensive Invisalign treatment option cost $4,500.
- For very mild single arch cases it will be quoted for less. Ideally, treating both arches at the same time results in the most favorable outcome.
Plan Set up and Tray delivery
- At this appointment, we will prep your teeth to hold your Invisalign trays.
- Not all teeth need to be prepped. The ones that do will require tooth colored engagers (also known as brackets in metal braces) to be placed and/or IPR (Inter-proximal reduction) to be preformed. These functions create space and add extra strength and stability to tooth movements.
- Invisalign recommends both to get the desired results.
